The original business began in 1973 in St. Michaels and then in 1978, Country Comfort Farm was built by Nancy Dawn Ashway and her family. Country Comfort Farm is now operated by Nancy and her daughter Chelsea.
Country Comfort Farm is located near historic St. Michaels, Maryland.
The farm offers lessons, boarding, training, judging, shows & sales.

Located on the scenic Eastern Shore in Talbot County, MD, our boarders have plenty of pasture room and spacious stalls.

Ms. Ashway began riding when she was 10 years old, and continued her education with trainers including, Sally Dohner, Vince Dugan, Jack Stedding, Bobbie Stedding, to name a few. She has been a Hunt Seat Instructor since 1974, and began judging in 1983.
